Endless Bliss
I could have frozen that moment,
That minute in time.
T'was bliss as they say,
Though it did not last long.
I loved the way you couldn't stop smiling.
I love the way we always insult each other.
I love when we chase each other around,
Each trying to grab what the other has.
I keep going over and over last night,
Every minute, every second.
But most of all I remember,
Oh how I covet the embrace!
A short hug, both of us wish had lasted longer.
I can remember how I couldn't stop smiling,
How good you smelled,
How happy I was.
I don't know how I was lucky enough to get you,
Though you tell it differently.
You say I'm beautiful a
